Products · Stream Stream — Live video infrastructure, fully self-hosted
Professional duplex video connections between a Master Control Room and remote locations — over the internet, without costly cloud services or complex broadcast hardware. Built on commodity hardware, engineered never to drop.
One control room, connected anywhere
A central MCR runs the backend dashboard. Remote locations — cameras, studios or presentation rooms — run a lightweight agent that self-registers. The operator starts a duplex connection: the MCR sends its program output to the location, the location sends its camera feed back — both in real time, at ultra-low latency.
Duplex streams
Program out, return camera back — both at once, over Tailscale or LAN.
Multi-location dashboard
Every connected location in one overview, open and close per location.
Per-location controls
Codec (H.264/H.265), bitrate, audio source and display — set independently per connection.
Live stream health
FPS, RTT and bitrate per location, updated every 3 seconds and colour-coded.
Auto-reconnect
Agents monitor the stream and restart automatically on a crash.
Self-updating agents
One click in the dashboard pulls the latest code and restarts.
MCR
Windows or macOS workstation running the dashboard, reachable via a Cloudflare tunnel.
Network
Direct peer-to-peer UDP over Tailscale; UltraGrid handles H.264/H.265 encoding and transport.
Location
Lightweight agent that self-registers, scans devices and delivers the return feed.
