We build the invisible backbone of live digital performances. Where dance, music and audience meet — through motion capture, real-time rendering and video-over-network — we design the technical pipelines that make it truly work: live, low-latency, and without a single thing allowed to falter.
Stage Innovations is based in Amsterdam and founded by Thomas Greven-Kogler (educated at NHL Stenden University). Our work lives on the border of technology and art. On one side: network engineering, redundant broadcast architecture and custom software that pushes the edge of what real-time allows. On the other: dancers, drones, digital characters and an audience that has to feel something.
Depending on the production we switch between marker-based tracking (OptiTrack) for sub-millimetre precision and markerless capture (Captury) for fast, suit-free setups. Our role is to merge those worlds so seamlessly that the technology disappears and only the experience remains.
